Ngā Mātai Pūrua

Nau mai ki te wharangi o Te Roopu Kapa Haka o Nga Matai Purua. Nga Matai Purua's first and foremost focus is Maori culture and all that it entails - whether it be reo (language), tikanga (traditions and customs), whakawhanaunatanga (ties with our community and throughout) or our rangatahi (youth). We believe in transparency and integrity, are passionate about our culture and urge anyone who would like to learn kapahaka from grass roots level upwards to come and join or support.

Collateral Culture -
Ala Mai

Collateral Culture's vision is to provide an alternative for our Polynesian youth and to be a lighthouse to a generation that is slowly losing their cultural values, by using the Arts as a vehicle to influence, inspire and reconnect them to who they truly are. Their mission is to rediscover, redevelop and nurture these talents or crafts through a cultural perspective.
