Our Kiwi Fest partners in culture; in 2022 we collaborate with Ngā Mātai Pūrua to create a culturally responsive space.

Nau mai ki te wharangi o Te Roopu Kapa Haka o Nga Matai Purua. Nga Matai Purua's first and foremost focus is Maori culture and all that it entails - whether it be reo (language), tikanga (traditions and customs), whakawhanaunatanga (ties with our community and throughout) or our rangatahi (youth). Nga Matai Purua believe in transparency and integrity, are passionate about culture and urge anyone who would like to learn kapahaka from grass roots level upwards to come and join or support.
